Overview:
This training will equip your team with essential de-escalation techniques that foster a calm, respectful, and productive workplace. Whether managing challenging clients, handling tense public interactions, or navigating difficult conversations with coworkers, these skills will help diffuse conflict and guide conversations toward positive outcomes.
Participants will gain actionable tools to handle stress and emotionally charged situations with confidence, ensuring smoother communication and better outcomes across all types of interactions. The training also highlights the importance of recognizing the effects of stress, trauma, and life challenges—both within and outside the workplace—and explores how these experiences influence emotions, behavior, communication, and team dynamics. By mastering these de-escalation strategies, your organization can foster an inclusive, psychologically safe environment where team members and clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Learning Outcomes:
- Apply De-escalation Techniques: Participants will be able to confidently use de-escalation strategies to manage difficult conversations and reduce conflict with clients, the public, and coworkers.
