OSHA 30 training promotes a culture of safety in the workplace. OSHA 30 hour training is recommended for safety directors, forepersons, and field supervisors in industries. The OSHA 30-hour course is designed to provide a comprehensive examination of Occupational Health and Safety Administration standards, policies and procedures.  The importance of OSHA and the rights and responsibilities that employers and employees have will be discussed. The course covers all the hazards you might encounter in different industries, from scaffolding to bloodborne pathogens. You'll learn safety procedures like lockout/tagout protocols, machine guarding and industrial hygiene. We will examine the California Code of Regulations (CCR) and the Codes of Federal Regulations (CFR).  Also, we will examine how inspections are done and where help can be had.  Design and implementation of plans.

Arc Flash Electrical Safety NFPA 70E

Basic Life Support

BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. This course teaches:

  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
  • The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components
  • Important early use of an AED
  • Effective ventilations using a barrier device
  • Importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multirescuer CPR
  • Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants

 

Hazardous Materials/Emergency Preparedness Planning

Cal/OSHA Confined Space Awareness

This course provides instruction in identifying a permit and non-permit required confined space, the hazards asociated with confined spaces, tartet industries and hazards, state regulations, communications, and equipment requirements.

 

Risk Assessment: Identify potential hazards and risks in your area. Understand the likelihood and potential impact of these events.

Emergency Plans: Develop comprehensive emergency plans that outline procedures for different types of emergencies. This should include evacuation routes, communication protocols, and strategies for protecting property and lives.

Emergency Kits: Assemble emergency kits containing essential supplies such as water, non-perishable food, first aid supplies, flashlights, batteries, and important documents. Make sure these kits are easily accessible.

Communication: Establish communication channels for disseminating information during emergencies. This could include phone trees, social media, emergency alert systems, and two-way radios.

Training and Drills: Regularly conduct training sessions and emergency drills to ensure that everyone knows their roles and responsibilities during an emergency. This helps improve response times and coordination.
